The inventory of homes based on the number of actual closed sales in SW Orlando nearly doubled in September 2007 jumping from 21.3 months of inventory in August to 37.6 months in September. The zip codes used for this report are as follows: 32811, 32819, 32821, 32824, 32830, 32835, 32836, 32837, 34786, 34787.

5,375 homes were on the market in September with only 143 properties selling. The average price per square foot continued its steady decline and now sits at 169 per foot which represents a nearly 14% drop since January. The average days on market is showing a steady increase while the gap between the list to sales price appears to be widening.
