We ripped up our first check with Levitt, then made the mistake of not listening to my gut feeling that they were overextended. There was a lot buried by Levitt. They were very greedy, lied and should pay the price. We are fortunate as this is a second home for us and not our entire life savings as for some. I feel the are in the same category as Enron and Adelphia and Mr. Levan should be prosecuted as I think he knew exactly what he as doing. The good part it is a beautiful area in Murrells Inlet, SC; the 90 us who have closed are lucky and close and hope a reputable and honest builder buys and finishes this over 55 community as we all hoped for.
