The real estate market statistics in Windermere (zip code 34786) shows some signs of improvement in recent months. While the inventory is still growing, the fact that the number of sales has been steadily increasing for the past six months is promising. We still have nearly a 2 years supply of homes on the market, so the market is not good by any means but there are signs that things are improving. The average price of a home sold in this zip code is still around $700,000 and sellers have been coming off their asking price about 10% showing that they’re becoming more cognoscente of market conditions and more realistic on their expectations.
