The good news is that the storm doesn’t look real intense and it’s just gonna bring some much needed rain. The Butler Chain, Clermont Chain, and John’s lake are all really low and I’m hoping the rains will bring them up some. My yard’s gonna like it as well.
One thing real estate related to keep in mind is that insurance companies stop writing new policies for homes once a major storm gets close to an area, so if you’re in escrow to close on a home it may be a good idea to get your hazard insurance on your property promptly during hurricane season. You don’t want hazard insurance delaying your closing and making a holy mess of the situation.
