The Windhover Condomiums across the street from Universal Studios is in the middle of a $2.5 million dollar renovation. The association is making some nice improvements to the community which includes a new 5 foot wide walking area around the pond that’s been cleaned up, new pavers, new exterior paint, new screened in areas, repairs to wood siding, and much more.

Richard Murphy of Leland Management says they’re half way done with the project and hopes to have the renovations completed by Thanksgiving. The condo community which began in 1973 was looking a bit tired and I think these improvements will make it even more attractive. Windhover has always been popular because of the great school district, central location, and value prices which currently stand between $60,000 and $120,000. My favorite plans in this community feature cathederal ceilings with exposed beams on the second floor units. I really love the pine trees and water features spread throughout the community that give it a really peaceful ambiance.
